You choose
I've always thought that time is the most valuable thing in the world. You can't buy it even with all the money in the world. You can't sell it, you can't control it, you don't know how many you have ahead and ti can fall off of your hands as fast as a blink. It's invisible and present always, even we don't like it sometimes.
During our time, we are constantely making choices. We choose to get up at 9:05 or 9:06 or 10:00. We choose to take a shower or not. Brush your teeth or not. Put on the blue shirt or the purple one. Dress clasual, dress formal. Eat breakfast, skip breakfast. Take the car, take the bike. Speed or drive inside the limits. Every second, every second, every, second, of, our, lifes, we, are, making, choices.
For some, choices have no matter. But i wouldn't think that way. The difference between get up from the bed at 9:05 or 9:06 can worth your life.
We make that many choices, and most of them, we do it without thinking about it. Some of them we do it in automatic. I do choices in automatic. I wash my hands after go to the bathroom every time. It's an action i don't think, i just do it. But i don't realize that that choice affect my life. If i don't wash my hands, i can get an infection or get sick. If i get an infection or sick often my organism will resent it. And who knows, maybe i can get a disease or die about it. It's just a simple and automatic decition that affect my life completely and most of the times i don't realize it. We don't realize it. It can be anthing not just washing your hands.
I believe there's always a moment where our choices are in our hands before make the decition. It can be one year. Sometimes is a fraction of a second while you see a truck coming over you and turning to the right to avoid a crash. It's Amazing how our brain can think in a million options in less than a second. You can even think in the consequences of your options. You can made a life in that time. There's always a moment. And i believe that that moment. It's the moment most important in where we should spend more time in. We don't like to think about our decitions sometimes. We rather think or do funny things. But "If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer" (1) You can have the good choice, the bad choice, the revange choice, the most easy or the most dificult choice. All this paths in front of you, that leads you to a diferent destination every second. It is you, and only you, who will make that choice. But not only you who will suffer the concequences.
We have to be careful in what we are spending our time in. We need to spend more time in "that moment". And maybe you can find the Lord there. Wispering at your ear. Pay atention to Him. Be wise. Jesus is wisdome. Persue Him. Because of that fraction of a second can depend your entire life.

"Your own conduct and actions have brought this upon you. This is your punishment. How bitter it is! How it pierces to the heart!" Jeremiah 4:18
